The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

His Doll

Do you remember this post about the doll I made? Well Amy (the mastermind behind the doll) happens to be Sam's primary teacher and he adores her. She happens to love him a little too and she made him this superhero doll for his birthday (could you just die over the mask & removable cape?!). She knew to put the I on front because Sam told her "my name isn't Sam, it's Iron man" a few months ago and as long as he has good behavior, she plays right along. What a perfect teacher for Sam, right?!
Well, Sam sleeps with this guy every night now and he tags along during most of the day too. Thank you Amy for loving Sam so much and knowing exactly what he would want!!

That is really quite amazing. I only wish I could be that charitable. Happy birthday to Sam--his baby pictures are adorable. Honestly.
