The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

more CA. & 4th of july

After BleCraCoh, we headed back down to Galt. The heat followed us down because it was above 105 the rest of the time we were in CA. Yikes, it was hot!! But thank goodness for the pool and that is pretty much where we spent all of our time.

$5 sunglasses from walmart were a huge hit!

some people went to the salon to get manicures and some of us painted our own at home.
not bad, huh?!

we (I) did a lot of corn shucking and corn eating.  yummm

The CA Anderson's spent a few days in Galt with us too. It was really fun... and HOT.  Did I mention it was hot?!

Grandpa did a lot of bbqing for us.  He cooked while we swam.  What a trooper!

And he did it with a smile on his face! :)

We had a perfect little 4th of July celebration in the back yard!

Our fireworks (with the hose near by)!

With homemade 4th of july shirts and jewelry of coarse.

Brooklyn and Cody were a little scared since it was their first time watching fireworks.  The mostly ended up having the perfect seats inside the house watching through the kitchen window!

The guys in charge, yes that is a little scary!

All the kids with Auntie Ang and Auntie BB, saying good-bye.

A 6am flight meant getting up before 4am and barely making our flight and falling asleep on the way home.
It was a fun, quick, wonderful time in CA.
