The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

1st day

The first day of school came so fast!  I wasn't ready for the kids to go back to school and I miss them when they are gone all day.  I'm finding that I get kind of bored and the house stays clean all day  mostly.  Until 3:30 that is.
Lucy has been getting along pretty well.  We have had quite a few play dates and trips to the store with just the two of us.  She starts preschool next Monday.  Now that is going to be strange.  And hard.  What will I do without my little lady?  I guess I'm about to find out.
It's hard to believe that I am reaching this point of having all my kids in school.  Technically Lucy still has 2 years of 1/2 day school.  But still, it feels really weird.  My children are growing up so quickly.  Does this mean I'm getting old?! because I feel kind of old.
But I am grateful and happy because my kids are happy and love going to school.  We are only 2 weeks in, but still.  I'm grateful for incredible children and a good school to send them off to each day!
