i took this adorable picture of lucy drawing yesterday (it's adorable because she's adorable!)

and then i thought that i better take some pictures of the other kids too, since it seems that most of my pictures are of lucy lately.

sam was coloring in the new star wars coloring book that trace got for doing so well at piano (trace is so good at sharing). sam is actually quite a good artist and can color & draw for really long periods of time. i love it.

cali was in the backyard in her ballet dress-up and she actually kind of took a second to pose for me. i love those dimples.
and trace was playing in the back yard with cali. he wasn't enthused about having his picture taken, but he let me take the picture to show that he lost his 2nd tooth yesterday! pulled it out all by himself, of coarse. he is so tough.
rian was not available for picture taking, but i had one from this weekend. i suggested that we take the kids to the park and all be together enjoying the beautiful saturday. andy brought his stop watch and measuring tape and markers so that he could make the kids run a 40-meter dash and time them. that wasn't exactly what i had in mind. but the kids loved it (most of them) and even chase got a time.

here is rian, finishing her dash. her long legs look SO MUCH like andy's. its crazy! i love it.
