Rian got her ears pierced when she was 5 and for multiple reasons (infection, neglect, etc.) the holes closed up. Well, she has been saving her $ to get them pierced again, but she got a gift certificate to get them done for her birthday. Today was the big day!!

So pretty! I think it's awesome that she was saving her money for it! I can't wait until my girls are old enough to get their ears pierced!
The same thing happened to me when I was younger, twice and one ear and three times on another ear for just about the same reasons.
