The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

Rian's surgery

Rian and my self portrain before the surgery. Putting on a brave face.
Nervous about getting the IV.

Playing Dr. on daddy with all the fun stuff the nurses let her bring home from the hospital!

Surgery is done and the drugs are working well!! What a trooper!

On Tues. morning at 8:15 am, Rian had her adnoids and tonsils removed. She was really nervous for the surgery but she was so brave! The surgery went very well and now we are just trying to recover. She is finally eating chicken broth and that is a big step for her. It has been a rough few days, but she is doing good and I know she will be back to herself (minus the removed tissue) soon! We just love Rian so much and are so proud of her courage and faith through this!

I'm glad to hear Rian's surgery went well. At least she has an excuse to eat lots of ice cream! Big hugs to her and all of you.

I cannot believe Rian had to have surgery. I feel so out of the loop. We need to talk more. I miss you. Hope Rian is doing well.

We haven't talked in way too long! I had no idea! Poor, brave little Rian! Seeing your kids in the hospital is so hard! Glad she's getting better. Amy

I don't think I'd be able to go through with something like that. I'm even nervous putting drops in my eyes. :) I hope you're getting better. Love, Alexis
