Wow, things have been crazy for me, but mostly in good ways so I shouldn't complain. We've had our Estes Park trip planned for a few months now, but when it came right down to it, it really was a hectic and inconvenient time to have a trip planned. Is that always how it happens? Is there ever a "convenient" time for anything when you have 4 children and are trying to close on a house? Also Andy was trying to prepare for a real tough week at work and I knew that was weighing on him. The thought of cancelling our trip did cross my mind during one of the many sleepless nights, but my sister Ang was already flying out to watch the kids and I knew that it may be our once in a long time chance! And I didn't want to miss that chance... the house would still be there when we got back is what I kept telling myself. And guess what?!? The house is still there.
We finally DID close on our house (after canceling one day of our trip) and then we left later that evening for Estes.
Andy & I had such a fun time together in Estes Park. We golfed (my first time) and it was really fun. Of coarse Andy being the most patient man on the earth helped. We took a nap every day! We had lots of great food, saw a movie, shopped and just really enjoyed every minute being alone together in such a beautiful place.
Not a lot of pictures to share, but a few I thought might interest a few of you. :) Enjoy!
We will move into our house this weekend in case anyone was wondering!

I love Estes Park. Ted's sister got married there back in 03 and it was so beautiful.
Yea! I am so glad that you are getting into your house. What could be better?
Woo hoo! Yay for a little Jen and Andy time! That is an absolutely gorgeous pic of you and your hubby! :)
Jen, your hair looks so perfect in that picture. I'm totally jealous . . . of your hair and your vacation.
