The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

part 2

it is hard to believe that i was still in hawaii a week ago, it kinda already seems like its been months.  we've had a lot going on around here this last week with potty-training (really this time), camping (6th grade campers), cleaning (i was gone for 10 days!!), dad coming into town, baptism (yay for R&T), new callings (andy, not me), easter and so on.
so it is wonderful to take a few minutes to post this part 2 of my trip and remember how wonderful it was to be with Ang and Katie and Jen and on the beach and warm and carefree.  but i'm glad to be home.  no, seriously.

this is me and ang pulling up to the hilton.  i bought these pink sunglasses at a sunglasses shop downtown on clearance for $8, pretty cool, huh?!

its a tradition to take this picture...

not a tradition, but fun none the less!! :)

the hilton in hawaii is kind of a weird place.  jen had the dolphin experience there and it was fun to see how much she loved that.  we walked around for a bit to check out the resort and took some pictures.  kinda wished i had my big camera this day, lots of good places to take pictures.

preparing for the hike down to makalawena...

we spent my last day at our favorite beach and it was the most beautiful day.  what a way to end the trip!

we were rinsing off in the freshwater pools, trying to take a timer picture when the camera fell forward and this is what we got.  best picture of the trip!!

see you next year hawaii (hopefully!)
