i have so many pictures i love from our camping trip and NO TIME to edit them, so they are going onto the blog as is. no one cares about that other than me, but still.
we had SO MUCH fun camping this week. yummy food (all good things involve yummy food!), hiking, plating, fishing, making jewelry, and on and on.
i am falling aslep as i write this and i have to give a lesson in RS tomorrow that i havent planned so i think i better make this short... here are some of my favorite pictures...
andy found some pop-guns at walgreens. sam thought they were the coolest thing ever.
grandpa's giant pancakes. yummy.
cooking on our new camping stove. love it, thanks amie!
lucy cried a lot the first day. she was tired.
sam was happy!
i wish i would have taken a before and after pictures here. we were all DEAD by the end. this hike was HARD.
andy picked me a boquet of wild flowers. so many pretty ones.
lucy stopping to smell the flowers (and possibly pick a few) and andy stopping to catch his breath.
carrying lucy was fun because she would wrap her sweet little hands around my neck really tight but that girl is heavy. holy smokes.
stopping at the little creek for some cooling off.
our family at the "top"
the view was a m a z i n g!
and it was romantic up there!
it was SO HARD carrying lulu up those hills. i am smiling in this picture, but inside i was crying from the painful back cramps. but she looks comfy, don't you think??!
fishing
cali caught the only 2 fish. it was exciting but she didn't love the actual fish so much.
it started our raining when we got to the fishing pond, but within a few minutes it was blue sky and beautiful.
"i told you not to play with my camera??..."
"ok. but lucy and trace have to be in the picture with me!"

Oh looks so fun! Rian said it was really fun and the hike was REALLY hard! :)
Camping with Grandparents is the best!! You are the cutest camping family. Your kids are going to love looking back on these memories, and although your back may be sore now, you will too!! :)
