The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

Picture day

We all know that I do not buy school pictures, but I did snap a few on the way out the door (we were running very late that day) for memories sake. It seemed to satisfy the kids enough that they have stopped begging that I buy the school pictures. My poor children, I cut their hair and take their school pictures for them... and I am not that great at either!
Sam insisted we take his picture on the scooter. Perfect Sam style...
BTW-Sam's good days are out-numbering his bad days 10-1. Great job buddy!!!

My sweet Trace, he is loving 2nd grade and his teacher, Ms. Huston, is "the best teacher EVER"! We are so happy about that after last years teacher issues.

Poor Rian, she had 2 teeth pulled the day before picture day. She was still such a trooper and excited for picture day. It's a big deal to a 5th grader who wears a uniform everyday to get to wear whatever she wants! She is wearing my shirt btw.

The pictures of your kids turned out great! I can't believe Rian is wearing your shirt. Too crazy. They grow up way too fast!
