OK, so I have to admit defeat right now. I just don't have the time to get these pictures from our trip edited and if I want to post them before Christmas time, then they are just going to have to be presented in their true form, I am sure you are all disappointed because you CARE so much about my pictures being presented in their best form!! OK, so I realize that no one (other than myself) cares if my pictures are edited and so I am gettin' these posts from out trip DONE!!! So that I can move on to other cool stuff we have done since we got home!! Here goes!...
The first weekend we were in CA., we headed up north to our "home". Where we met, dated, where my extended family (on my moms side) lives, where so many people that we love still are, where we were married and really where my heart feels most at home.
We were together to celebrate my sister Torrie getting married. We made it into a 2 day celebration and it was so much fun. I love my family. It feels so good to be with my mom's siblings. They make me feel so close to her. They love our children like she would. They look like her, they laugh like her. Being with them makes my heart feel so full. They are the most wonderful people.
We spent the first day together at my Auntie Jo's house in Lake Shastina. Andy and I were married 12 years ago to the day in that same back yard!! It was a perfect day.
Cali & Trace with Grandma
We did family skits. Trace and Ang are wearing their "costumes". Our family rocked the skit competition, no doubt!!
Lucy, Clayboy & my Aunt Becky (my dad's sister), one of the sweetest women I know!!
Rian & her cousin Emily at my Uncle Ed's house on Shasta Lake. 5 acres of incredible lake-front property. Breathtaking, really.
Trace & Auntie Ang
We swam in our under ware, that is what you do on 5 acres of lake-front property, right?? (by "we", I mean the kids!!)
I love this picture...
Train passing by...
Ok, so I know that I have posted this picture before but I am posting it again because I LOVE this picture of me and Andy. Love it so much. I love him, I love this lake, I love my $6 Target shirt, it was our anniversary and whatever, I just love it!!

K, seriously, your pictures always look amazing. It takes enough time just to upload photos to create a post! Looks like you guys had so much fun. I so miss living in California too!
I love the commentary on that last pic - you are so funny. And I love that you love your hubby like that, it's adorable.
