The greatest joys in life are experienced in happy family relationships... the cultivation of a happy home requires effort and energy, forgiveness and patience, love and endurance and sacrifice, but it is worth all of this and more. -Gordon B. Hinkley

Blowing out the candles...

Playing with her new kitchen...

Cali turned 2 years old on Saturday. I can't believe my baby girl is 2, where does the time go?! And though it seems to have flown by, I don't remember how we ever lived without her! She is such a blessing to our family and how much my Heavenly Father must love me to allow me to be her mother. She is such a little ray of sunshine and is loved so much by her brothers and sister.

We had a ward Halloween party on her birthday, so we told her that everyone was there for her birthday. She was in total heaven going from door to door getting candy and then from table to table eating off people's plates any leftover cookie or cupcake she could find. I was watching the kids decorate cookies and in just a moment, Cali was no where to be found. I eventually found her in a corner eating candy out of some poor kids (now half empty) candy bucket... I think Halloween may be her favorite holiday!!

We had the Summers over for pizza and homemade (by Rob) cinnamon rolls on Sunday afternoon. The cinnamon rolls were the most delicious thing I had ever tasted and I made myself sick trying to finish one! It was so worth it! Cali got a kitchen with dishes (from us), plastic food (from the Summers), and a baby with stroller, bed and car seat (from Grandma & Grandpa). She loves her presents!! She has spent hours moving her new baby from nap time, to walking time to car seat time.

Happy Birthday sweet Cali-cakes. We love you more than words could ever say and you have brightened our every day since the day you were born!!

She's so adorable. I'd love to see pictures of her at Noelle's age. Those eyes! By the way, where'd you get the kitchen? I'm thinking of getting one as a joint Christmas gift.
